A1 Telekom Austria Group holds its annual general meeting in accordance with the Articles of Association and Austrian stock corporation law, and orients itself on the rules of the Austrian Corporate Governance Code.
The Annual General Meeting 2010 of Telekom Austria AG took place on May 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wiener Stadthalle, Halle F, Vogelweidplatz 14, A-1150 Vienna.
Introductory remarks by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board and speeches by the Management Board were transmitted live via Internet.
Agenda Item 7: Election of one member of the Supervisory Board
Dr. Stephan Koren will assume a position at the Supervisory Board of the ÖIAG. In accordance with good corporate governance and in order to avoid potential conflicts of interest Dr. Stephan Koren will resign as a member of the Supervisory Board at the end of the 2010 Annual General Meeting of Telekom Austria.
Dr. Wolfgang Ruttenstorfer is nominated to be elected as a Supervisory Board member succeeding Dr. Stephan Koren.
In order to treat all shareholders equally the meeting follows the principle "one share, one vote". Resolutions and voting results are published on the website immediately after the end of the annual general meeting; for legal reasons it is currently not possible to vote via the Internet.
